John Campbell MacIntyre, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024, in Woodstock, Ontario at 95 years of age.
John's journey began in South Dorchester Township, where he was born to parents James and Eva. His life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family. John was the loving husband of the late Rhoda MacIntyre, who predeceased him in 2021.
A devoted father, John leaves behind a legacy through his sons, Daniel (Karen), Brian, Richard, Dale (Rita), and Paul. His guidance and wisdom will live on in the hearts of his 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.
John is survived by his caring sister, Margaret (Ray) Tuffin. He was predeceased by his brother Don and Don's wife Marion, a testament to the close-knit family bonds that John held dear throughout his life. The MacIntyre family has also felt the loss of granddaughter Crystal Lee and great-granddaughter Brooklyn, who John now joins in eternal rest.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside will take place at Kintore Presbyterian Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
