Bruce Ferguson Day

Day, Bruce Ferguson - Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge on Sunday, September 15th, 2019, in his 101st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Isabel Day (nee Gard)  for 72 years. Devoted father of Bruce Brian Day, Glen Day (Judy Palansky), Sheila Ann Hartley (Bruce Nelson), and Neil Day. Cherished grandfather of Jessica Hartley (Kyle Millar) and Craig (Jenn) Hartley. Proud great grandfather of  Everly and Charlotte Hartley. Dear brother of Vance (late Irene) Day. Predeceased by his in-laws Donald (Ruth) Gard, and George (Mona) Gard and by his niece  Carolyn Arneill. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Bruce served in WWII as part of the Royal Canadian Air Force and is now a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was also an active member of Knox United Church, Embro.  A private family service will be held.  Friends and Relatives are invited to join the family on Saturday, September 21st at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock,  from 11am to 1pm to celebrate Bruce`s Life. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Heroes of Zorra would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
