Elise (Miller) Harris

Harris, Elise (nee Miller)- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, August 10th, 2019, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Harris.  Loving mother Lois (Bruce) Thomson, David (Vivian) , Ross (Diane), Janice (John) Clifton, Alan (Andrea), and Sharon (Mike) Zabos. Cherished grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 17.  Survived by her sister in law Marion and the late Ernie Miller August 10th, 2019, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, daughter Brenda Watts and brother Don and his wife Marg Miller. Elise was a long standing member of the Anglican Church Women, and was part of Scouting, Beavers, Cubs and Guides for over 50 years. She also enjoyed her 15 years with the Sunshine Foundation and was later a volunteer at the Southgate Seniors Centre for many years. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, 723 Dundas St., on Thursday, August 15th, 2019 from 10 to 11 am, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery to follow.
