STEVENS, Gary Shipley - Passed away surrounded by his loving family, at the University Hospital in London, on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Paula Stevens (nee Vanderbeeten). Cherished father to Dianne (Dale) Fischer, Lorrie (Blair) Stevens, Jenny (Jeff Smith) Stevens and Mark (Kimberly) Stevens. Loving Papa of Brayden (Bryanna), Devon (Marley) and Laura (Devon) Fischer; Garan (Ashley) and Kianna Stevens; Kendall, Danica, and Bryce Egan, Laney, and Maddox Smith; Evan and Jordin Stevens. Proud Great Papa to Aubrey Fischer. Dear brother of Lawrence (Gail) Stevens, Paul Stevens, Joan (Patrick) Hubbert, and Maureen (Robert) Jelly. Predeceased by his parents Chester and Evelyn (nee Shipley) Stevens. Gary will always be remembered by his several nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427) on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 from 2 to 4 and again from 7 to 9. The service will be held Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 at Kintore Chalmers United Church at 2. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Chalmers United Church Kintore – Lift Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
