Ralph Ensign Payne

Ralph Ensign Payne, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Loved husband for 71 years of Marie. Beloved father of Ron (Dianne) Payne, John (Lynne) Payne, Nancy (Dennis) Warren, and Donald Payne. Cherished grandfather to Nicki, Chris, Heather, Sarah, Matthew, and Mackenzie. Great grandfather to Enzo and Nico. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Isaac and Edna and brother Tom. Ralph was a long-time farmer in the Thamesford area, retiring to east London. Ralph was a resident at the Veterans Unit, Parkwood Hospital for the past three years. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427) on Sunday, August, 11th, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM. The service will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford on Monday, August 12th, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at the Zion Hill 7th Line Cemetery with Reverend Darrell Shoule officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Dorchester Legion, Veterans Care Services-Parkwood Hospital or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
