Danny Muzzin, 87, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on Friday 10/24/2025.

Danny was born in S. Vito Tagliamento, Italy, on 11/04/1937 to Alessandro and Santa (Gasparotto) Muzzin.

He immigrated to Windsor, Ontario, Canada by way of Ellis Island in 1954. He lived and worked in Windsor, Woodstock, Beachville, and Ingersoll Ontario. He met and married Sharon (Ares) on 11/5/1960 in Burk's Falls, Ontario.

In Beachville he was one of the founders of the Columbo Club of Oxford. He was also passionate about playing soccer and teaching kids how to play. He was instrumental in forming junior soccer teams in the Ingersoll area.

The family immigrated to Northville, Michigan in February of 1973 where Danny started a new career in concrete construction. In 1981 they relocated to Jensen Beach Florida, where he formed Muzzin Brothers Inc. with his brother Vinicio.

Upon retiring, Danny and Sharon travelled on many cruises. He took pride in keeping his property looking beautiful and loved nurturing his plants and many palm trees.

He is predeceased by his parents Alessandro and Santa, his brothers Luigi and Vinicio and also his children Marina and Michael.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, his daughter Melinda McDaniels, grandson Anthony McDaniels, brother Maurizio and wife Gloria, sister-in-law Ida, goddaughter Lisa Odorico and many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

All who knew Danny are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 am to 11 am, and will be followed by a service in the chapel at 11 am. Danny's ashes will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Woodstock, Ontario, where Marina and Michael's are resting.
