Alan Cecil Walker

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Al is survived by his loving wife Lynn, his son Ethan (Tanya), and daughter Megan (Jeremy). There was nothing more special to Al than his grandchildren, Hannah, Lincoln, Leah, Beau and Russell. Al is also survived by his two sisters, Norma (John) and Carol. 

Al was always a biker and outdoorsman at heart, although his health had restricted his activities in the recent past.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all involved in Al’s care over the years, including the amazing doctors and nurses at Woodstock General Hospital, especially the CCU and Palliative Care unit.

In place of flowers, we ask that donations be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm. In keeping with Al’s outlook on life, we ask that this visitation be a casual dress gathering.
