Andrew John Boyce

Andrew passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in his 42nd year. Forever loved son of Rodney and Nancy Boyce (nee Johnston) and brother of Jennifer de Wit (Michiel). Uncle to Carter, Heidi, Riley, Katie, Gabriella, Timothy and Alexia. Former husband and friend of Samantha Spelt, and “dad” to his buddy, Brewster. Beloved grandson of Lena Cary (Boyce). Predeceased by his grandfather Joseph Boyce, and grandparents Bob and Christine Johnston. Andrew will be remembered by his Uncle Dave, Uncle Richard, and Aunt Darlene, and by his dear cousins Brenda, Paul, Suzanne, Tim, Barb, and Kristen.

Andrew was a talented musician and a longtime part of the London arts community. He took up the cello at a young age, and was part of the London Community Youth Orchestra and later the London Community Orchestra, making many friends over more than 20 years. He was deeply loved, and he will be greatly missed.

Friends and family will be received for visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1–2 p.m. at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. A celebration of life will follow with refreshments from 2–4 p.m., with Sharing of Memories at 3 p.m., also at the funeral home. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
