Andrew James Force of Woodstock, Ontario, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the tender age of 22. Born on March 12, 2003, Andrew was a bright light in the lives of many, touching hearts with his unique personality, creativity, and remarkable talents.
Following a serious car accident, Andrew endured a courageous and exhausting three-month journey as his body worked to heal. It was a true rollercoaster, marked by moments of hope and unimaginable challenges. Through it all, Andrew fought with incredible strength and determination, never losing the essence of who he was. Even until the very end, he remained completely himself, resilient, authentic, and surrounded by love.
He will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Lee-Ann Force, Steve Lind, and Paul Force; his sisters, Reese and Charlotte Lind, and Avery Force. Andrew held a deep love for his grandparents: Bob and Marlene Stoneman, Steve Lind and Thelma Munro, John and Linda Force, and Brenda and Paul Wilson. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; David and Mandy Stoneman, their children Zack and Ava; Tim Lind, Michael, Megan, Everett, and Brenden Force.
Andrew shared a close and loving bond with his mother, Lee-Ann, and his stepfather, Steve, who proudly raised him as his own. Together, they created countless treasured memories, from exciting trips to Canada’s Wonderland to attending car and truck shows. Steve cherished taking Andrew to Toronto Maple Leafs games, moments that became lasting highlights filled with laughter, connection, and shared passion.
From a young age, Andrew showed a natural affinity for creativity and engineering. He spent countless hours building “Frankenstein” trucks and custom vehicles, a passion that brought him great joy and never failed to impress those around him. An avid gamer, Andrew loved immersing himself in virtual worlds and skillfully navigating their challenges. He also found special joy on the golf course, particularly during treasured rounds spent with his father.
Andrew was well known for his incredible sense of humour. His dry, dark, and sarcastic wit often left friends and family laughing uncontrollably, reminding everyone of the power of laughter, even during life’s most difficult moments.
The loss of Andrew leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and many friends. In their grief, they find comfort in the countless memories of his laughter, strength, and unwavering spirit. Andrew James Force will be remembered for his courage, creativity, humour, and the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Brad Moffat, Dr. John Yoo, and the staff at Victoria Hospital Critical Care Unit for their exceptional care, compassion, and dedication throughout Andrew’s journey. Their professionalism and kindness brought comfort and support to Andrew and his family during an incredibly difficult time.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Andrew's Life will be held at a later date.
