Andy was a man who built his life with the same strength and precision that he used in his craft as a carpenter. His work was not just a profession but a testament to his character—meticulous, reliable, and enduring.
In his personal life, Andy was known for his love of Tim Horton's coffee, a simple pleasure that often accompanied his gentle presence and loving conversations.
Andy's life was enriched by the love of his family. He is survived by his brothers, Jan, Harry (Joanne), and Ted (Carol) Vleuten; sister, Marina (John) Skitch; sister-in-law, Penny and Linda Vleuten; stepson, Jeff (Jenn) Maxwell; step-grandchildren, Samantha and Brandon; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. Andy was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marlene, and his siblings, Bill, Lambert, and John Vleuten, Joanne Marple, and Elizabeth Reynen. He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law, Jane Vleuten, and brothers-in-law, Gord Reynen and Ken Marple.
A special thank you is extended to John (Kim) Bourgoin for their unwavering love, support, and help over the years. Their presence in Andy's life was a source of great joy and comfort.
As we say goodbye to Andy, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by compassion, and a legacy of gentle strength. His was a life that demonstrated the beauty of simplicity and the power of quiet love.
