Barbara Winona Morris

With peaceful but heavy hearts, we announce that Barbara Winona Morris (Hart) of London, Ontario went to be with the Lord December 26, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born and raised in Port Lambton, Ontario on January 3, 1939 and would later reside in Wallaceburg, Chatham, Woodstock and Tillsonburg. 

Eldest daughter of Gerald and Elenore Hart (Poland). An avid golfer, creative gardener and talented seamstress. Barbara was a thoughtful, generous and fun friend to many. Beloved wife of the late James Milton Morris (2020) and the late Joeseph Remi Verhoeven (1993). Lovingly remembered by her children Richard Murphy (Heather), Randy Murphy (Caroline) and Rodney Murphy. Dear grandmother of Craig, Chris, Keith, Melissa, Dayna, Jules, Stephanie, Michael, Jessica, Kyle and 16 great grandchildren. Treasured sister of Linda Lamontagne (Cyril), Nancy Alexander (the late Lorne), Nora Jane Deroeven (the late Don), the late James Hart (the late Shirley), and the late Gerald Hart Jr (the late Judith). 

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff at LHSC who supported Barb in her final days with dignity and care. Cremation has been entrusted to Brock and Visser Funeral Home of Woodstock, Ontario. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
