Mother of Mary Frerichs, John (Jan) Pearson, Margaret (James) Waterfield, Jane (Paul) Easun, Amanda Pearson, Nancy (Tom) Bender and Susan (Jay) Johnston.

Grandmother of Laura Boddaert (Maia), Jessica Frerichs, Michael (Lesley) Pearson, Andrew (Lisa) Pearson,Shannon (Roger) Knorr, Sarah Waterfield (Evan Ronan), Matthew Waterfield (Sara Lilley), Samantha Saunders, Stefanie Saunders (Tod Rivard), Rebecca Pearson, Adam Pearson, Brian Pearson,Steven (Brittany) Bender, Kyle (Jenn) Bender, Jenelle Bender (Adam Miettinen), Heather (Joe) Peterson, And Eric Johnston.

Great grandmother of Lucas Pearson, Hayden Pearson, Mitchell Pearson, Greyson Knorr, Elliott Knorr, Josie Knorr, Alistair Knorr, Iris Ronan, Misha Atkinson, Aiden Rivard, Dylan Rivard, Lucian Bender, Nora Bender, Clara Bender, Sophia Bender and Tyler Bender.

Barbara is now reunited with her beloved husband Ross Pearson who predeceased her in July 1997. She was also predeceased by her parents John and Jessie Black and grandson Elijah Waterfield.

Barbara studied at Woodstock General Hospital and became a registered nurse. She worked there until her family started to grow.

Cremation has taken place. As per Barabara's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
