Bennett "Willy" William Hough

Bennett William Hough, affectionately known as Willy to his friends and family, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on February 15, 1951, in Woodstock, Ontario.

Willy's life was one of dedication and love, particularly for his family. He is survived by his sons, Ryan and Garett (Margaret Ann), and his daughter-in-law, Evelyn. Willy was a proud grandfather to Julian, Jayden, Alex, Jimmy, and Matthew, who will miss his playful spirit and the wisdom he imparted. His siblings, Brian (Denise), Susan (Tom), Nancy, and Dora will fondly remember Willy as a brother who was always there for them. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Jean Hough, and his brother David. Willy leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his memory.

Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held on Sunday August 11, 2024 from 11:30am-1:30 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave 519-539-0004). A private family committal will take place. If you so desire, donations to Candain Cancer Society would be appreciated.

As we say goodbye to Willy, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man deeply loved. His memory will be treasured in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will continue to guide us. Willy's journey on earth has ended, but his story will be told for generations, a beautiful narrative of a life that touched so many.
