In Loving Memory of Bonnie Miller (née Bill)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, stepmother, and great-grandmother, Bonnie Miller (née Bill), on May 13, 2025. Born on August 31, 1947, to Ruth (Alyea) and David Bill, Bonnie was predeceased by two baby brothers and both of her parents.

Bonnie dedicated her life to caring for others. She began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse at Woodstock General Hospital and later served as a charge nurse at Woodingford Lodge. Her compassion extended beyond her professional duties; she volunteered with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and provided palliative care to home patients and their families. Even in her final weeks, Bonnie continued to assist fellow nursing home residents, embodying her unwavering commitment to service.

Our family has been incredibly fortunate to have had Bonnie in our lives. She was our hero, teaching us the values of hard work, love, and selflessness. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A private celebration of Bonnie's life will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Bonnie's memory.
