Carl Martin Braun

We are saddened to announce, after a short illness the passing of Carl Martin Braun Jr. at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday April 27, 2025 in his 82nd year. Loving husband of the late Janice (nee Cole) (2020). Loving father of Martin (April), Kenneth (Jacquie), and Michael. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Jean and Sharon and the late Robert (1999). Predeceased by his parents Mary and Carl Braun Sr.

Carl spent many years growing tabacco in Straffordville before moving to Woodstock. He became a millwright and spent several years working at Greenline. 

When he retired he joined the South Gate Centre and became an avid snooker player

Guests will be received on Friday May 9th, 2025 from 2-4 pm  at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave. 519-539-0004). Please  join us for remembering a wonderful man. 

A private family graveside service will be held at Hillview Cemetery at a later date.
