It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Bernard Cunningham on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at Woodstock Hospital.
He will truly be missed by his daughter Louise (Larry) Baer, grandson Michael Kreuger, granddaughter Julie (Chris) Johnston, great granddaughter Krystyna (Connor) Collins, great grandson Boston Collins, great-great grandson Corbyn Rand, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Ruth (nee Major), second wife Marg (nee Korycki) and his three brothers, Harold, Jack, and Jim.
Carl was born on the kitchen table on the Cunningham farm March 9th, 1927, 16th Line, Innerkip. He had an interesting life with many job adventures ranging from hand milking cows to retiring from Babcock and Wilcox in Cambridge. Prior to moving back to Woodstock in Oct. 2023, he lived along the Grand River in Everglade Park, Cambridge for over 60 years. Here he shared many happy times with his Everglades family.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, from 10 to 11 am where the memorial service will take place in the chapel at 11:00 am. Inurnment to take place at Innerkip Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the VON Sakura House or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
