It is with deep sadness that the family of Carrie-Lynn Helwig announces her passing on April 9, 2026, in her 44th year.

Carrie-Lynn has been reunited with her beloved mother, Donna Helwig (née Monteith), and her grandparents who predeceased her.

Nothing meant more to Carrie-Lynn than her children, Hunter Parvanyik and Leah Chambers, who were the center of her world. She will be forever missed by her father, David Helwig, and her sister, Jennifer Waterston (Andrew). Her memory will be cherished by her nephews, Asher and Donovan, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Carrie-Lynn will be deeply missed by her partner, Dave Ghent, and will be fondly remembered by his family, including his brother Ron, sister Sharon, and mother Mary.

Those who knew Carrie-Lynn will remember her for her caring heart, her strong spirit, and the deep love she had for the people in her life. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur babies, Milo and Major, who brought her much comfort and companionship. Whether through quiet moments or shared laughter, Carrie-Lynn created lasting memories with those around her. She walked through life in her own way, leaving a legacy of kindness that will be missed more than words can express.

A private interment will take place at a later date at Dorchester Union Cemetery.
