Cathy Carne

Catherine (Cathy) Carne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2025, at Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario, at the age of 73. 

Cathy was a devoted wife to Rick Carne, a loving mother to Mike Carne (Angie) and Chris Carne (Kristen), and her greatest joy in life was being an amazing grandmother to Logan, Brady, and Everett.  She will be deeply missed by her two sisters, Leslie Downing (Jim) and Lori Smith, as well as her brother-in-law, Al Carne (Lynn). Cathy was surrounded by many close friends who stood by her side throughout her journey.

Cathy will be remembered for her generosity, her unwavering commitment to family and friends, and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. 

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the nurses at Woodstock Hospital and the compassionate staff at Sakura House for their exceptional care and support.

A private family service will be held, with a Celebration of Cathy's Life to take place at a later date. Details to be announced here.
