MORRISON, Charles “Earl” – Passed away peacefully at PeopleCare, Tavistock on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, with his family by his side. He was in his 97th year. Earl was born February 3rd, 1926, in River John, Nova Scotia to the late Charles Lewis and Ella Mae (Logan) Morrison. Earl is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years Barbara Jane (Burton) Morrison. Loving father of James (Arlene), Terry (Brenda), Robert (Sharon), and  Lu-Anne (Cary) Newell. Dear brother of Bertha Bigney, and brother-in-law of Marion Morrison. Earl is predeceased by his sons David (Carol) and Kenneth, sister Jean Kathleen (Glen) Woodworth, Florence Marie (Art) Harvey, and Beatrice Irene (Clinton Werner) (Frank) Potter, and brothers Jack Sterling (Gerry), James Arnold, and Elwood Lewis, and brother-in-law Nathan Bigney.  Earl will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jason, Darryl, Christine, William, Paul, Melissa, Bryan, Heather, Derek, Scott, Daniel, Chris, and Sarah, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, and his nieces, nephews, and extended family. Earl worked at the Oxford Regional Centre formerly Ontario Hospital as a supervisor for 33 years. Earl loved to sing and play the guitar and fiddle. A private family service will take place at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004. If desired, memorial contributions to the V.O.N.
