Christopher Jon Hayes, born on February 4, 1963, in Hampshire, England, passed away on May 16, 2025, at Woodstock Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Chris was a passionate motorcyclist, a love that brought him joy and adventure throughout his life. He had a keen interest in anything British, loved to read, passionate about music and he found companionship with his beloved cats, Baby and Prince.

He is survived by his sons, Brandon Rodwell and Shane Rodwell (Marisa). Chris also cherished his role as a grandfather, leaving behind the joy he shared with his grandchildren, Laiylah, Cooper, and Rory. He was a devoted brother to Stuart Hayes (Julie) and took pride in being an uncle to his nephews, Liam and Logan. His father, Roy Hayes, continues to carry the legacy of his son’s loving nature and the memories they created together. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Beryl, whose nurturing presence shaped the foundation of his life.

He will be remembered for the unwavering love that he provided to his family and friends.
