Christopher Paul
Lallinger
January 24, 1964 – June 11, 2026
Christopher Paul Lallinger, known to many as Chris, passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2026. Born on January 24, 1964, in Woodstock, Ontario, Chris lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a genuine love for the simple joys that connected him with those around him.
Chris had a unique way of bringing life’s memories and moments to others, dedicating much time to the careful and thoughtful act of taping music and movies onto blank tapes. This small yet meaningful hobby was more than just a pastime—it was a way he preserved and shared the stories and sounds that shaped his world. Among his fondest experiences were the times spent with his nephew Allan, particularly their frequent visits to market centres, a shared activity that created lasting bonds and treasured memories.
He was widely regarded as a great guy, someone whose presence made a difference and whose absence will be deeply felt. Chris is survived by his loving partner of almost 15 years, Becky Strathdee, his brother, Albert, and wife Beverly, niece Sabrina (Ed), nephew Allan, and sister-in-law Tracey. Chris will be lovingly remembered by Becky's son, Austin (Stephanie), and their children, Blair, Hudson, and Claire.
Chris was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Shirley, as well as his brother Tony Lallinger.
Christopher Paul Lallinger’s life was a testament to the importance of companionship, simple pleasures, and the quiet strength found in everyday moments. He will be remembered with great affection and respect by all who were fortunate enough to know him, and his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
