It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dave on March 30, 2024, at the age of 67. Cherished husband of Marilyn Massey (Rhea) for over 30 years. Devoted Stepfather of Laurie Schell, Angie Schell, Leslie (Phil) Caskanette, and Kevin Schell (Jess). Beloved grandfather of Alicia, Jason, Erica, Alan, Katelyn, Jordan, Connor, Hunter and Brittany. Dave was predeceased by his parents Fred and Alice Rhea. Dear brother of Diane (Ron), Delores, Doug (Liz), Donna (Wayne), Bobby (Margie), Ronnie (Tracy). Predeceased by his brothers Alphonse, Jim, Joe, Tom, and Frankie.
He will also be missed by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Dave always enjoyed time spent with family and friends at any gathering. He also really enjoyed watching wrestling and anything Harley-Davidson. With all the things that life would throw his way, he never forgot to remind Marilyn how much he loved her.
If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Woodstock Moose Lodge, 690 Sutherland Street from 1pm to 4pm.
