Donald Elmer Denby

DENBY, Donald Elmer – Passed away peacefully at McCormick Home in London on Thursday, October 10th, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. Denby (nee Howes). Cherished father of Don (Marilyn) Denby, Christine (Jim) Andrew, Vicky (late Bob) Aldersley, Jennifer (Bill) Greene, Monte (Cheryl) Denby, Roger (Melany) Denby. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Jud Denby, and sisters Jean Phelps and Linda Drysdale. Predeceased by his sister Doris Patience and brother Bill Denby. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Don was a firefighter for the city of Woodstock for 38 years. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, 519-539-0004) for a time of visitation from 1-2 pm on Thursday, October 17th, 2019, after which a service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated and may be made through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home.
