Doris Jean Swartz

SWARTZ, Doris Jean (Fleming) passed away peacefully in her 97th year on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of almost 70 years to the late Earl Maxwell Swartz (2017). Loving mother to Leanne (Mike) Siebenmorgen of Sparta and Scott Swartz of Woodstock. Doting grandmother to Nicole (Tom) Malcolm of New Zealand, Holly (Brett) Loeppky of Kelowna, BC, Ryan (Stephanie) Molenda, Abby Swartz and Ben Swartz and her great-grandsons George and Grayson Molenda and her newest great-grandson Emory Joseph Malcolm who Doris was thrilled to have met via FaceTime born just 8 weeks ago in New Zealand. Doris also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and family friends. Doris was predeceased by her brothers Irwin, Burton and Wilbert “Babe” and her sister Barbara as well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Doris loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll.
