At Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, October 4th 2025 passed away peacefully in her 97th year. Loving wife to late Russell (2019). Predeceased by her mom, Jean(1970), father Bill Earle(1985), brother Blair Earle, and sister in-law Evelyn and infant brother Blake(1933). Survived by her son Allan (Sam) Lightheart, grandmother to Deanna Lightheart, Tasha Lightheart and great grandson Trigg. Granma to Amy Beecroft and her family. Mom started her career as a knitter at Shelby’s in Ingersoll and then to Harvey Woods plants #1, 2 and 3 in Woodstock. Mom pursued a new journey at the Beachville post office, where she ended her career as postmaster after 25 years. Mom‘s hobby was looking after beautiful flower gardens around the house. Mom always marked special occasions like birthdays and Halloween, and loved decorating the house for Christmas and hiding Easter eggs for the Easter bunny. Mom‘s specialty was cooking Sunday supper, which all friends and family enjoyed. She was the best cook of the land. Topping it all off with delicious desserts, pies, and chocolate cake, with icebox dessert being everyone’s favourite. Mom was a standing member of the Beachville Baptist church for many years. Honouring mom‘s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home in Woodstock on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, from 3pm-6pm. Internment will be at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. Donations will be accepted at a charity of your choice.

Very special thank you to Anita and Mike LANGDON, Karen and Gareth Price and currently Sophie Gayle and staff of LANGDON retirement villa for the last 15 years of care to mom. Special shout out to Laurelle in the kitchen on weekends for the fabulous meals that she enjoyed like her own cooking. To Colleen Barker for providing mum, with all the humour and laughs.

Mom will be missed by everyone who knew her.
