Eileen (Webster) Beattie

BEATTIE, Frances Eileen- Peacefully at her residence on Saturday February 18th 2017. F. Eileen Beattie (nee Webster) of Woodstock in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late George Harold Beattie (2006). Dear mother of Kathleen (Clifford) Hie, Robert, David (Vivian), Elizabeth Anne (Robert) Legere, Colleen, Brien (Shirley) and Margaret. Loved grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Patricia Carter and sister inlaw of Josette Webster. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Teresa Reynard, brothers George Webster, Raymond (Pat) Webster and by her brother inlaw Lorne Carter. Eileen was a graduate of the first RNA class of Woodstock, retiring from the Oxford Regional Centre, as well as a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #55 Woodstock. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday February 21st 2017 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Wednesday February 22nd 2017 at 11:00am with Father Richard Dales as celebrant. Interment later at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
