Elisabeth Probst passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 14, 2026, at Stratford Hospital.

Elisabeth’s identity was closely tied to her love of gardening, cooking, baking, and any form of artistic expression she could embrace. Music was also a constant companion throughout her life, inspiring joy and connection. These elements were not merely pastimes but the essence of who she was.

Above all, Elisabeth treasured her family. Her heart shone most brightly when surrounded by her two beloved sons, Fred and Frank, and their wives, Anne and Beverly. She found great joy in being an Oma to her five grandchildren, Alexander (Bonnie), Tristan, Kelden, Evan, and Sarah.

Any Holiday celebrations, especially Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, were marked by Elisabeth’s warm hospitality and exquisite cooking and baking, traditions that bonded her family and created precious memories.

Elisabeth is survived by her siblings Berta, Maria, and Martin, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Friedrich, in 1985, as well as by her siblings, Sigmund and Anna, who are remembered with love.

Elisabeth’s life was a testament to the richness found in dedication to family, the cultivation of beauty in everyday life, and the nurturing of tradition. Her presence brought warmth, creativity, and love to those around her. She will be missed deeply.
