Elizabeth Pearl Huffman

Elizabeth Pearl Huffman passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on May 22, 2025 at 84 years of age at VON Sakura House. Loving mother of Lesli (Mike) Chapple. Proud grandmother to Justin and Ashley. Predeceased by her husband William 'Bill' Huffman, her brothers Philip and John Fizzard and sister-in-law Beverley Huffman. Survived by brother Wilbert (Marjorie) Fizzard, sister-in-law Beatrice Fizzard all from Newfoundland. Also remembered by one nephew, several nieces, extended family and friends. 

Pearl was a long-time employee of the Quaker Oats Company of Canada. She was a past volunteer at the Salvation Army and the breakfast program at St. Peter's School. Member of the quilting group at Trenton Seniors Club 105.

She travelled extensively throughout Canada, the United States, and parts of Europe. She was most happiest when travelling to the Maritimes to visit with family and friends.

A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Sakura House for their compassionate care. 

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and interment will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Trenton, Ontario. Celebration of life to follow.
