Obituary

Eloise Jeanette Stevenson, 92, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026

Born on February 27, 1934, Eloise entered the world as the resilient survivor of twin girls. She grew up as part of a large, vibrant family that deeply shaped her life and values.

Eloise took great pride in her professional career. She spent many years working as an assistant accountant at the University of Manitoba Medical Group (UMG) a role she truly loved and dedicated herself to.

Her life was enriched by her creative passions. She was an avid reader and loved crocheting, frequently sharing the fruits of her hobbies with her beloved family and friends. Upon her retirement, Eloise channeled her creativity into a flower arrangement course. She spent time working with a professional florist, a skill that became a beautiful ministry of love. For years, she crafted gorgeous arrangements for family milestones and created annual floral tributes for her predeceased loved ones' gravesites. Eloise was an active participant in the many zany "Sister's Day" events and excursions. These gatherings were always full of laughter, mischief, and the completely unexpected, creating treasured memories that lasted a lifetime.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Robert and Lillian, as well as her siblings: Shirley, Audrey, Jean, Douglas Roy, June, Marlene, and Kirk.

Eloise’s legacy of creativity, and dedication to her family lives on through her surviving siblings, Gail, Jim, and Jack, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who meant the world to her.

In accordance with her wishes, a family interment will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Wolverton Cemetery, Wolverton Ontario at 1:30.
