Visitation
Funeral Service
Edith Eugenia Culp, born on March 12, 1930, in Brockville, Ontario, peacefully passed away on March 18, 2026, at Secord Trails Care Community in Ingersoll, ON.
Eugenia was a cherished member and instructor for the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild, where she shared her passion for rug hooking, a craft she pursued with enthusiasm and skill throughout her years. Additionally, she was actively involved in the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre, contributing to the vibrancy and growth of local arts.
A member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Eugenia lent her voice to the church choir. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Eugenia had a compassionate heart for others and was a dedicated teacher, notably working with children with special needs, bringing care and support to those who needed it most.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Eugena Riehl, and her granddaughter, Stephanie Riehl, who continue to carry forward her legacy of kindness and creativity. Eugenia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Culp, who passed away in 2001, and her son, Jeff Culp, who died in 2021.
The family wishes to invite all who knew Eugenia to the Knox Presbyterian Church, 59 Riddell St, Woodstock, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for a time of visitation starting at 10 am with the service taking place at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
