Everett Alexander Monk

September 9, 2017 – September 11, 2025

Our beloved Everett Alexander Monk, passed quietly at home with his mom and dad by his side on September 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with Ewing sarcoma. Born in Woodstock, Ontario, on September 9, 2017, Everett filled the lives of those around him with joy, laughter, and light.

Though his time here was far too short, Everett lived each day with courage, imagination, and a smile that could brighten any room. A true “daddy’s boy” with his mother’s spark, Everett carried within him both a playful spirit and a heart overflowing with kindness. He loved superheroes, Iron Man holding a special place in his heart, video games, and inventing stories of his own, sharing his unique world of wonder with those around him.

Everett’s greatest joy came from the love of his family. He will be forever cherished by his parents, Megan and Chris, whose devotion to him was boundless. He was the beloved little brother to Cason, his partner in adventures and biggest fan. Everett’s memory will also be treasured by his grandparents, Guy and Joan Donovan, and Lorrie and Jody Slade, along with his aunts, uncles, and cousin, who will always carry his laughter and spirit close in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to gather in Everett’s memory on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the same location.

If desired, memorial donations in Everett’s memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Childcan would be greatly appreciated. If you wish an acknowledgement card be given to the family please reach out to the funeral home (519-539-0004).

Everett will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May his spirit soar alongside the superheroes he so admired, reminding us always of the joy, bravery, and love he brought into the world.
