Freda Piluk

Freda Connie Piluk, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, entered eternal rest on May 16, 2025, at Victoria Hospital in London. Born on March 7, 1951, in St. John, New Brunswick, Freda led a vibrant life characterized by love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

For 25 years, Freda dedicated herself professionally to Waterloo Regional Homes, where her compassionate nature shone through. She was known for her cute sense of humor, outgoing personality, and immense generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Freda's big heart not only embraced her family but also raised two grandchildren further emphasizing her capacity for love.

Freda's passions were diverse. She found joy in reading and painting, often taking relish in the smaller pleasures of life, such as dining out with friends and searching for the perfect bargains. She enjoyed embarking on adventures with her great grandchildren. Teaching them how to cut wood on camping trips. And exploring the outdoors. In her younger years, she loved to dance the nights away with her husband, Peter, celebrating 42 years of love and partnership. Her family was the centerpiece of her life, and her proudest accomplishments included being a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Freda is survived by her beloved husband, Peter; her children, Janet and her son Justin; Johnny and his family; stepchildren Peter, Danny, and Dianne, along with their respective families. Freda also leaves behind her cherished granddaughter, Lindsay(Brock) and great grandchildren Jonathan, Alexis, Alana, Aaliyah, Aspen, and Mason. She is further survived by her siblings: brothers Steven, Paul, Allan, and Eddie (predeceased), and sisters Annette, Celicia, and Jeannie.

She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Freda's life at Brock & Visser Funeral Home Burial and Cremation services Ltd., Woodstock Chapel, located at 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, ON N4S 8Z4. Visitation will be held on May 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Freda's spirit will live on through the memories we share and the love she poured into our lives. Let us remember her laughter, her kindness, and the warmth of her heart as we come together to bid farewell to a truly remarkable woman.
