It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary, who passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 in Woodstock, Ontario at the age of 74.

Gary was born on September 23, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to Helen (Nieszczur) Berczel and Leonard Senior Nieszczur.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lisa, his grandchildren Cole, Jaida and Brody as well as his son Mike. He was brother to Diana, Leonard Jr, Kathy, Darlene, Mary, Tom, Adele, Elaine, Melanie and Myron. His friends were as close as family to him, especially Steve and Prudence Barker, who always held a place for him at their table and their hearts.

He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, work ethic, generosity and will be remembered by those who knew him as someone who never missed a chance to share a coffee and a chat.

Gary will be deeply missed and forever in our thoughts and hearts.
