Grace Neabel, born on March 26, 1936, in Woodstock, Ontario, peacefully passed away at her home on February 11, 2026. She was loved by her family and those whom she touched throughout her life’ here on earth. A devoted Christian who dedicated her life to the service of her Lord and Saviour.
Grace was one of five children born to George and Gladys McCormick (née Littlejohns) and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She carried forward her family’s legacy of love and resilience throughout her life.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Neabel, in 2005, who was a significant part of her life, as well as her daughter, Dorothy Middleton (nee Neabel), who passed away in 1996.
Grace is survived by her children, Heather Conte (Mike), Stephen Neabel (Ruth), Kimberley Neabel (Mark), Cheri Endicott (Jeff), and Garry Neabel (Beth). Grace's legacy continues through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her and will carry her spirit forward.
Grace was a faithful and devoted attendee of Berean Bible Church/The Rock Bible Church, and Oxford Baptist Church, where she formed many lifelong friendships and found a strong sense of community.
Grace's life was creatively rich with the deep desire for all to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, displayed in each card that many have received. She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her loving and gracious spirit. Let her memory be a source of nurture and admonition to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The family invites friends and loved ones to gather in remembrance of Grace's life. Visitation will take place on February 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Both events will be held at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004).
