James "Jim" Roy Richardson, a cherished husband, stepfather, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2024, at the age of 57, in Ingersoll, Ontario. Born on March 17, 1967, in Hamilton, Ontario, Jim was a man of great intellect and analytical prowess, known for his handy nature and his ability to solve problems with grace and patience.
Jim's life was a testament to his dedication to his family and his passion for understanding the world around him. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, who was the cornerstone of his life. Together, they created a blended family filled with love and mutual respect. He will be deeply missed by his stepchildren, Melodie (Mike) Boyle and Meagan Carlisle (Ian), who will forever cherish the wisdom and guidance he provided. Jim's legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Gabriel, Rilynn, Micheala, and Amelia, who brought immense joy and laughter to his days.
He was a devoted son to his parents, Roy, and Barbara Richardson, who take comfort in the memories of his kind-hearted nature. Jim's siblings, Karen (Ray) Boyce and Larry (Pam) Richardson, will remember him as the brother who was always ready to lend a hand or share a thoughtful insight. His sister-in-law, Jeanette (Rob) Davis, along with his nephew, Jonathan (Izzy), and nieces, Hannah and Eden, will hold dear the moments of joy and camaraderie they shared with Jim.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
