Jill Elizabeth Clowes

Surrounded by the love of her family, Jill passed away at Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Beloved wife and best friend of David Clowes, sharing 48 years of marriage. Loving mother of Heidi Paterson (Geoff) and Penny Zinger (Jeremy) and best friend and Grandma of Owen and Hayden. Cherished daughter of Max and the late Dorothy Beemer. Dear sister of Carol Bradley (Tom) Michael Beemer (Susan), and sister in law Joan Sarginson (Garth). Jill is also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephew; Christie, Matthew, Rebecca, Jill, and Mandy .

Jill had a special place in her heart for all children, and spent her working career as a dedicated Educational Assistant, and many years as the aquatic and program director at the Woodstock YMCA. Her greatest joy in life was her family, of whom she was so proud. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

In keeping with Jill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. For those wishing to honour Jill’s memory with a donation, her family suggests the Ingersoll Food Bank, where she was a dedicated volunteer.
