Jodi passed away surrounded by her loving family at Victoria Hospital, London, on August 23, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on April 3, 1964, in Montreal, Quebec, Jodi was known for her sweet and kind demeanor that touched the lives of everyone around her.

Throughout her career, she dedicated herself as an administrator in the medical field, where her professionalism and compassion made a significant impact on the lives of both her colleagues and patients. Jodi's positive outlook on life remained unwavering, even amidst the challenges posed by her own health issues. Her resilience and ability to shine brightly in difficult times inspired those fortunate enough to know her.

Jodi's family meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Barton, to whom she was married for 38 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving home filled with cherished memories. She is also survived by her daughter, Leah Barton, who is married to Shaun Haskett, and her son, Ryan Barton. Jodi leaves behind her siblings, Jay Bernstein and Sandi Huband, who will remember her fondly.

Jodi will be missed not only by her immediate family but also by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Her infectious spirit and warm friendships were a blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Outside of her professional life, Jodi had a passion for enjoying the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, and indulged in watching sports, particularly tennis and baseball. Her zest for life was evident in all her pursuits.

Jodi’s legacy of kindness, love, and strength will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sheila and Stanley Bernstein, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Louise and Everett Barton. Jodi’s presence in this world will be deeply missed, and she will forever remain a cherished memory in the lives of her loved ones.
