John Wesley Ferrow, known affectionately as John to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, at Woodstock Hospital. Born on June 25, 1946, in Ingersoll, John's life was marked by dedication, love, and service to his community. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, family values, and countless cherished memories.

John's journey began as the beloved son of Thomas and Alice Ferrow, who predeceased him, along with his siblings Ronald (Marilyn) Ferrow and Betty (Hank) Lamers. His life was enriched by the love and companionship of his wife, Brenda Ferrow, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Together, they built a family that includes their children Ruthanne (Brian) Rakutt, Cindy Cattle, and John (Jennifer) Ferrow. John's joy was multiplied by his grandchildren Jordan, Ivana, Luke, Logan, Amelia, Jacob, and Jordan, who will carry forward his spirit of kindness and generosity.

John's siblings, Noreen Fallowfield, Rosaline Slade, and Valerie (Mike) Wybo, will fondly remember their brother's unwavering support and the laughter they shared. His extended family of many nieces and nephews will also hold dear the memories of their uncle's wisdom and playful nature.

Professionally, John was a skilled welder and trailer mechanic, known for his strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities. His hands were rarely still, as he also embraced the life of a part-time farmer, tending to his land with the same passion and dedication he applied to all aspects of his life. John's commitment to his community was evident through his many years of service as a volunteer firefighter, where he demonstrated bravery and a deep sense of civic responsibility.

John's interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. His shiny, red 1970 Bonneville convertible was a source of pride and joy, and he could often be found polishing it to perfection on sunny afternoons. The roar of the engine and the gleam of the chrome were testaments to his love for the classic beauty.
