John Wayne Haacke

John Wayne Haacke, a devoted mechanic and truck driver, was born on September 27, 1953, in Peterborough, Ontario and passed away peacefully at his home in Thamesford on September 30, 2025.
John is survived by his beloved son, Joe (Steph) Haacke, and his cherished daughter, Norma Hutson. His family also includes his grandson, Paul Todd (Samantha), along with his granddaughter, Nikita Hutson (Justin Freeman). John was also a proud great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
John was the last surviving member of his immediate family, being predeceased by his parents, Harry and Norma Haacke, and his grandson, Mathew Hutson, who passed away in 2000.
His memory will be forever treasured by those who knew and loved him, as they reflect on his warm spirit and the impact he made in their lives. John Wayne Haacke will be dearly missed, yet fondly remembered by family and friends who carry forward his legacy of hard work and love.
