John Ovington Keenan, born in Ingersoll on January 13, 1934, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 92.

Loving husband of Norma for 70 years. Dear father of John (2019) and Linda, Paul and Julie, and Mark (2023). Grandfather of Tracey and Kevin Walton, Jonathan and Jennifer Keenan, Nancy Keenan. The great-grandfather of Jake, Liv, Hank, Leif, Diana, and Jordan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. John was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Elizabeth Keenan and his siblings Charlie, Stu and Liz.

John worked for CN Rail for many years and retired in 1989.

Many thanks to all the staff at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock (Orchard Lane and Pinecrest) for their friendship, kindness, and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. As per John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to an animal rescue would be deeply appreciated.
