John Maxwell Taylor, born on January 10, 1943, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. He lived a life rich in love, family, and friendship, and he leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by those who knew him.
John is survived by his beloved spouse, June, whose companionship brought joy and comfort to his latter years. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Tracey Taylor, and embraced his role as a father figure to his stepchildren: Joe (Lisa) Ferretti, Steve (Lorraine) Ferretti, Sherry (Paul) Martelli, Rachel (Keith) Heise, Anthony (Amy) Bailey, and Bethany Gordon. Each of them holds treasured memories of laughter and love shared with John.
A proud grandfather, John took immense pride in his grandchildren: Rebecca, James, Dustin, Stephanie, Samantha, Heather, Jonathan, Joseph, Allegra, Atticus, Archer, Damion, Jazmyn, and Everton. His eyes would light up with joy at the mention of their names, and he was always ready to share stories of their accomplishments and adventures.
John was also a cherished brother, predeceased by his twin brother, Jim, leaving behind his siblings: Graham (Dale) Taylor, Doug (Mary) Taylor, and David (Georgia) Taylor. Their bond shaped many cherished moments and lifelong memories that will remain in their hearts.
John was predeceased by his late spouse, Sandra, whose memory continued to be held close by him and his family.
The impact that John Maxwell Taylor had on his family and friends is immeasurable. Known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support, he has left an indelible mark on the lives of those who loved him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
