Joyce Katharine Scott

A month shy of her 95th birthday, Joyce passed away in her sleep on February 8, 2026, at Chelsey Park Long – Term Care, London. 

She joins, in green pastures, her husband “Mac" (2001) and her sons Roy (2001) and Lorne (2021). Joyce was the only child of Gordon and Lila Judd. She leaves her two daughters, Gayle and Deb, and many grandchildren. She is also survived by one niece, Connie.

Joyce was a devoted member of the United Church of Crumlin and Dorchester and an active member of the United Church Women and the Women’s Institute. She had a rewarding career in human resources at Fanshawe College, London, and took pleasure in gardening, quilting, crafting, and homemaking. She had a great affection for her cats, who provided much comfort and joy in her life. 

Many thanks to the caring staff at Chelsey Park long-term care during her brief final days. Burial and graveside service will take place in the spring, date to be announced. 

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice, Dorchester United Church, or the Alzheimer’s Society.
