Judith “Judy” Ann Lane (nee Kerr), in her 78th year

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy will miss the most caring, giving, and wonderful lady. Judy is predeceased by her parents, George Russell “Pat” Kerr and Cathleen Rose “Kay” Kerr (nee Hodigo). Judy was cherished by her late husband Edward “Ted” Lane and by her late partner, James Belt. Judy passed away on January 10, 2026, with the love of her life, Brian Allen, by her side.

Judy is survived by her sisters, June Wilkins and Joan Craven, along with her brother, Gary Kerr, and his wife, Susan, along with her cousin and lifelong best friend, Darlene Bradley. Judy touched many lives and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A lifelong resident of Woodstock and summer resident of Stokes Bay, Judy had a truly kind heart and will always be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and goodness. Eternally positive, Judy brought out the best in everyone around her.

Judy dedicated her entire working life to the Human Resources Department at Woodstock Hospital, beginning her career straight from school and remaining there until her retirement. Her commitment, professionalism, and care for others were evident throughout her many years of service.

Cremation has taken place. 

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devosnhire Ave., (519-539-0004) on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm for a celebration of Judy's Life.
