Julie Devon Hansford

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Julie Devon Hansford (nee Waud) passed away on February 1, 2026, at VON Sakura House at the age of 69. 

Julie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 49 years, Dave; their children, Nathan (Laura), and Jessie (Marc), and her beloved grandchild, Ciara.

She also leaves behind her brothers, Mark (Barb), Bill (Karen), and Danny, and her sister Carolynn. She will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family-by-choice, and friends.

Julie was predeceased by her parents, William and Vivian, as well as her Uncle Ray and Auntie Janet, who were like parents to her.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Swart, Suzanne from Care Partners, Dr. Jeffries, and the compassionate staff at Sakura House for their exceptional care and support.
