Kathryn Doris Elizabeth Greenfield, born on August 24, 1954, in Stratford, Ontario, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2025. She led a life enriched by love, family, and cherished moments, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her.
Kathyrn was the cherished mother of, Terry, Scott (Kristin), and Trevor (Sarah) Greenfield, mother-in-law to Jen Greenfield. Adoring grandmother of Maddy, Kalen, Tarra, Hannah, Nolan, Austin, Avelee, Brett, Audrey, Piper, and Liam. She leaves behind her siblings: George (Joan) Brodhagen, Joanne (Dan) Foster, Frank Brodhagen, Gary (Kim) Brodhagen, and Robert (Terese) Brodhagen, as well as her brother Henry (Sandy) Brodhagen. Dear sister-in-law to Jane Greenfield, Pearl (Jeff) Cowan and Janet Clarke. Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard Greenfield, who passed away in 2021, her son Ed Greenfield, in 2017, and her sister, Marie (Vern) Brohart, whose absences are deeply felt.
Kathy was a devoted wife for 43 years, proud mom of four boys, three daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren. One might say that you would never walk in her back door without the smell of one of her delicious baked goodies coming out of her oven.
Kathy was an avid sports woman from being at every one of her boys many basketball, volleyball and soccer games, to never missing a Blue Jays game… Unless, of course, they were playing on a Saturday night, where she would be found Dancing and mingling at the local Legion with many dear friends.
Kathy would beam bright as the sun every time one of her grandkids walked into her house. The holidays were especially looked forward to by all of her family, as she would put all of her heart into making her famous carrot cake and angel food cake, amongst many other wonderful dishes.
As a Woodstock citizen for 47 years, Kathy had made numerous wonderful friends over that period of time, and the family would like to welcome all who had the absolute pleasure of knowing her to join them at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). Visitations will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A service will be held on Thursday, November 6th, at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at Hillview Cemetery.
