Leslie Ashton "Les" Blancher

BLANCHER, Leslie "Les" Ashton - At the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday February 18, 2012. Les Ashton Blancher of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Beachville in his 79th year. Loved father of Les Blancher (Mary) of Woodstock, Terry Blancher (Sue), Raymond Blancher (Maria) and Sharon Thompson (Ed) all of Brantford. Dear grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Les is also survived by his brothers; George, Norman "Red" (Eileen), Lou (Arlene) and by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his dearest and closest friend Winnifred (nee Matthews) Blancher, by his son Bob Blancher and by his brothers Don, Charles, Douglas and Jerry. Cremation has taken place. A time of remembrance and celebration will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday February 25, 2012 from 2-4 pm.
