Linda Ball passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, at the age of 83 in Woodstock, Ontario. Born on June 26, 1940, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Linda's early years were filled with the bustling energy of a large family, being one of 18 siblings.
Predeceased by her husband James Ball. Linda's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughter, Katherine (Ken) Webster, her cherished granddaughter, Leah (Joel) Pechler, and her adored great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Madeline. Her memory will also be treasured by her surviving siblings, Larry and Mabel, who continue to reside in Nova Scotia. Linda's spirit lives on through the many nieces and nephews who were touched by her presence.
Throughout her life, Linda was a pillar of strength and an example of steadfastness to all who knew her. Her career at Woodingford Lodge was marked by compassion and dedication, where she retired after many years of service. Linda's colleagues remember her as someone who stood her ground, a trait she proudly passed down to her daughter, Katherine her granddaughter Leah and her great granddaughters.
Linda, known for her love of games, found great pleasure in the digital world, often seen with her tablet in hand, deeply engrossed in her latest challenge.
Her passion for crosswords was unmatched, and her competitive nature made her a formidable opponent.
