Lynn Morris Sanford Howick

Howick, Lynn passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 91.

Lynn is survived by his partner of over 40 years, Sandra Smith; his son, Mark Howick; Mark’s daughter, Kendrah; and great-granddaughter, Alice. Lynn will be missed by his sister, Marian McDonald; several nieces and nephews; and Sandra’s son, Greg Smith, his wife Jennifer, and their son Thomson. Lynn will also be remembered by Sandra’s brother, Brian, his wife Janet, and their family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Ruby Howick; his sister, Jean Slack, her husband Edwin, and their son Gerald Slack; his brother-in-law, Bill McDonald; and Mark’s mother, Judy Culbert (Utting).

Lynn was a long-time member of the OCNA, King Solomon’s Lodge, and the Mocha Shriners.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at PeopleCare in Tavistock for their care and kindness. A special thank-you goes to Lynn’s longtime best friend, Dick Julian, and his daughter, Katie, for their love, kindness, and the many Wednesday visits that Lynn enjoyed so much.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held on November 23, 2025. Interment will take place at the Vittoria Baptist Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntington Society of Canada or to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
