AITKEN, Marguerite- Now safe in the arms of Jesus, Marguerite passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26, 2017, at Woodstock Hospital in her 97th year. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews as well as several great nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Predeceased by her sisters, Janette Tattersall, Eileen (George) Darderian, and Ina (Mervin) Reinhart. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday January 31, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service to honour Marguerite's life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Marguerite's family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Onishenko and nurse's Laura and Katelyn for their wonderful care.
