Marion Wesselak, born on December 24, 1959, in Stratford, Ontario, peacefully passed away on January 26, 2026, in her 67th year at Woodingford Lodge, in Woodstock, Ontario.
Marion was the cherished daughter of the late Josef and Marion Wesselak. She grew up in Princeton, Ontario, in a loving household, enriched by her family's strong values and support. Marion's memories of her parents remained a guiding light throughout her life, teaching her the importance of kindness and the joy found in sharing life with others.
A treasured sister, she is survived by her siblings, Anna (Kevin) Towers, Josef Wesselak Jr., and Alana (David) Maginnis. Her nephew, Lucas Maginnis, and niece, Kassidy Maginnis, will fondly remember her as a loving aunt.
Marion's family also extends to Kevin (Shauna) Towers and their children, Nolan and Exie, and the late Marnie (Chris Winskill) Towers.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Lorne Sim (2014), who was her partner and confidant. As well, Marion's fur baby, Mini-Me (Mini), preceded her, a reminder of the companionship that animals bring to our lives. Her family takes comfort in the belief that Lorne and her are reunited once again, along with furbaby, Mini.
Marion's legacy will live on through the love and memories cherished by her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her, forever reminding them of the beautiful impact one person can have on many lives.
